Join us on National Trails Day where ITA and Ridge to Rivers are partnering with the Womeness Community to improve our well-loved trails in the Boise foothills. We’ll work on general trail maintenance including brushing/pruning, cleaning trail drainage structures, and fixing the trail tread to ensure proper width and slope.  

Itinerary: Meet at the trailhead (location TBD) at 9am and returning to our vehicles by approximately 1pm.

Estimated Drive Time from Closest Town: About 15 minutes from downtown Boise

Hike: 1/5 Easy
Short hike, about three miles with little elevation gain. Carrying day packs and tools.

Project Work: 2/5 Moderate
Work on the trail tread to ensure proper width and slope, which could include digging, swinging tools, and chopping up dirt. Volunteers are encouraged to work at their own pace.
