Join us on National Trails Day for a project working to improve the Campbell Creek Ridge Trail which climbs up towards Slate Mountain (6,929’) in the Bannock Range. Volunteers will be working up the ridge, removing brush, and cleaning out drains to keep this trail in good shape for the summer. 

Trail: Campbell Creek #020 

Itinerary: Meet off West Caribou Road to carpool to trailhead in the morning; work until midafternoon.

Estimated Drive Time from Closest Town: 20 minutes from Pocatello 

Difficulty Rating 

Hike: 2/5 Moderate
A short and easy hike with a little uphill in the beginning. Carrying tools and day packs.  

Project Work: 2/5 Moderate
Work will focus on brushing/drainage dips. This included digging or swinging tools and bending or kneeling for light saw work or brushing.Volunteers are encouraged to work at their own pace.
