In partnership with the Land Trust of the Treasure Valley, we’ll be repairing some of the most frequently used and well-loved trails in the Dry Creek Watershed. Tread repair and pruning will be conducted along Ponderosa Pine Overlook and the Snowshoe Hare Loop. Enjoy a fall day surrounded by pine trees with wonderful views of the valley! 

Trail:  Ponderosa Pine Overlook and the Snowshoe Hare Loop 

Itinerary: Meet at Stack Rock trailhead at 9 am. Return to the trailhead at noon for refreshments and to head home.

Hike: 2/5 Moderate
Hiking less than 3 miles total, with slight. elevation gain. Carrying tools and day packs short distances.

Project Work: 2/5 Moderate
Trail work will focus on tread repair and brushing, expect digging or swinging tools and bending or kneeling for light saw work or brushing.
