The goal of this project is to smooth over the sides and fill in the dugout of an illegally developed spring. While not trail work, this project adds value to our public lands adjacent to the Pole Creek Wilderness by restoring valuable riparian vegetation and habitat and is a chance to explore the Owyhee Uplands Backcountry Byway. Join us the night before to camp with the Backcountry Hunters & Anglers – Idaho Chapter, near the project location.
Itinerary: Meeting at the Mud Flat admin site at 9am, work until 3 pm.
Crew Leader: Elizabeth Bridges and Brendan Blowers de León
More Information: Owyhee Uplands Backcountry Byway Guide
Estimated Drive Time from Closest Town: 2 hours from Boise
