After a beautiful drive to Lunch Peak Lookout, we’ll work for 3 days north on Trail #67, which is part of the Idaho Centennial Trail. As we work along the top of the divide, there are beautiful views of the Purcell and Selkirk Mountains.  

Trail:  Pend Oreille Divide Trail #67 

Itinerary:   The crew leader will specify meeting time & place. There will be car camping available for those who would like to spend several nights in this beautiful area.

Hike: 2/5 Moderate
Trail stays on the ridge with some elevation gain, about 1,000 feet over the first three miles. Hike getting longer each day as we work further out from camp.  See the linked map for the elevation profile.

Project Work: 3/5 Moderately Strenuous
Work will mostly involve cutting trees and brush off the trail. Repeated digging or sawing. Carrying tools and days packs. Volunteers can pick trail duties based on comfort and ability level and are encouraged to work at their own pace.
