Join us for National Trails Day to work on the Station Creek Trail outside Garden Valley. This trail starts across the street from the Forest Service ranger station and climbs up to 4,700 feet for an amazing view. This popular trail is also known for its stunning wildflowers.  

Trail:  Station Creek Trail #152 

Itinerary: One-day project. Meet at the Station Creek trailhead at 9 am, work until midafternoon.

Hike: 3/5 Moderately Strenuous
About 2.5 miles, with some steep sections and elevation gain of about 1,500 feet.  See the linked map for the elevation profile.

Project Work: 2/5 Moderate
Some log out expected but focus on improving tread to ensure proper width and slope. Carrying tools and day packs up the hill. Volunteers can pick trail duties based in comfort and ability level and are encouraged to work at their own pace.
