Project Name: Dry Creek

Date: September 27

In partnership with the Land Trust of the Treasure Valley, we’ll be repairing some of the most frequently used and well-loved trails in the Dry Creek watershed. We’ll work to clear brush that has overgrown into the trail and repair tread for future hikers and snowshoers. Last year, volunteers spent a morning brushing out over a half mile of trail! This year ITA is co-hosting two one-day projects to help keep this trail clear. Come out and enjoy a fall day surrounded by pine trees with wonderful views of the valley!

This project takes place on National Public Lands Day, the country’s largest single-day volunteer event for public lands! Since its inception in 1994, NPLD has brought together hundreds of thousands of volunteers to help restore and preserve America’s public lands. Join us for one of ITA’s many statewide projects to celebrate this day!
