Project Name: Station Creek
Date: June 7
Join us on National Trails Day to work on the Station Creek Trail outside Garden Valley. This trail starts across the street from the Forest Service ranger station and climbs up to 4,700 feet for an amazing view. This popular trail is well used by hikers as well as local fire crews training for the season. ITA hosted a successful project here in 2023, featuring some fun crosscut work and beautiful wildflowers!
National Trails Day, held on the first Saturday in June, is a day dedicated to advocacy and trail service through public events. Volunteers from across the country unite to work on trail projects and give back to their local communities, committed to improving trails for others. Join us for one of ITA’s many statewide projects to celebrate this day!
