Join us on National Public Lands Day where we’ll return to the beautiful Boulder Meadows. We’ll continue the work we started in June, improving the tread, brushing, and sawing logs off the trail. The trails we’ll work on will be based on damage suffered over the winter, but all are scenic hikes through forests and meadows that lead up to great views from the surrounding ridges. This section of the Boulder Meadows trail is part of the 900 mile long Idaho Centennial Trail (ICT).
Difficulty Rating: 2 – Moderate: Day trip trail work is performed a small to medium distance from a trailhead. Volunteers (up to a dozen) will carry a daypack and tools.
Road Considerations: To the trailhead from the highway 95 turnoff in Naples, it’s about 45 minutes in on a decent dirt road, but high clearance vehicles are recommended.
