ITA volunteers will meet at Granite Lake on Friday evening where we’ll car camp for the weekend. We’ll work on the Deep Creek Trail clearing it to the junction with Cougar Creek about three miles total. This trail travels through forest and alpine meadows but has become overgrown and needs trees cut out of the trail and overgrown brush removed. Help us open this trail near McCall, Idaho!
Difficulty Rating: 2 – Moderate: Day trip trail work is performed a short distance with some elevation gain from the trailhead. Volunteers will carry a daypack and tools.
Estimated Drive Time to Meeting Spot: 45 minutes from McCall
Road Considerations: Four-wheel drive is recommended to access Granite Lake.
