Join us on National Trails Day for our annual Mickinnick trail project! Volunteers will work on this very popular 3.5-mile-long hiking trail right outside of the town of Sandpoint, Idaho. Mickinnick gains 2,200’ from the valley bottom to reach a beautiful viewpoint far above the city. We’ll cut out logs, do tread work, improve drainage, and clear brush from the trail.
Difficulty Rating: 2 – Moderate: Day trip trail work is performed a small to medium distance from a trailhead. Steep incline. Volunteers will carry a daypack and tools.
