Join us on a 2-night, 3-day backpacking trip up and along the Pend Oreille Divide Trail. After a 4-mile backpack with 1,600’ of lift to the top of Pend Oreille Divide, we’ll camp then work south on the trail, which is part of the Idaho Centennial Trail. As we work along the divide, there are beautiful views of the Purcell Mountains. We’ll have packers haul our water and tools up to the camp so volunteers will have to carry only their personal gear and food. Work will mostly be cutting trees off the trail with some brushing.
Difficulty Rating: 3 – Difficult: Hike medium distances from a trailhead with elevation gain – This is an overnight backpacking trip. Pack support to help with tools and water.
