DESCRIPTION:Project Name:  Canfield Mountain \nProject Dates: June 6 \nJoin us in celebrating National Trails Day with a collaborative trail stewardship project at Canfield Mountain\, one of Coeur d’Alene’s most accessible and well-loved trail systems. In partnership with NRTP\, LCTA\, and PANTRA\, volunteers will work on Trail 10 to improve trail conditions\, enhance drainage\, and maintain the corridor for all users. \nTrail 10 is a moderately challenging 4.6-mile route that winds through a forested landscape popular with hikers\, mountain bikers\, and trail runners. With heavy use and seasonal runoff\, sections of the trail can become rutted\, muddy\, and prone to erosion\, making ongoing maintenance essential to keep it safe and sustainable. \nNo prior trail experience is necessary — volunteers of all skill levels are welcome\, and all tools and instruction will be provided. This is a great opportunity to give back to your local trails\, connect with the outdoor community\, and be part of a larger effort to care for the places we all love. \nMore information on Alltrails \nProject information is subject to change. Crew leaders will communicate via email.
