This picturesque area offers stunning views of the dramatic rock formations that make Chimney Rock a rock climber's mecca. \nTo accommodate a wide range of abilities and interests\, we'll split into multiple work groups throughout the day. Volunteers who prefer a slower pace or a more moderate hike will focus on brushing along the lower sections of the trail\, while those who are comfortable hiking farther will head higher to help with log removal and tread work. This structure allows us to welcome volunteers of many experience and fitness levels. \nThe lower sections of the trail typically require significant brushing\, while the upper sections will need log removal and tread rebuilding. With peak fall colors expected—and the option for a refreshing swim at the end of the day in the Pack River if it's warm—this project is a fantastic way to wrap up the trail work season in northern Idaho. \nMore Information can be found on  All Trails. \nProject information is subject to change. Generally suitable for beginner to moderately experienced hikers looking for a bit of a challenge and who are well-prepared (e.g.\, have worked out or hiked with a pack to prepare for the trip).
