DESCRIPTION:Project Name:  Ridge to Rivers – National Trails Day  \nProject Dates:   June 6  \nJoin us on National Trails Day and get out in the foothills for a morning of trail work! Project specifics will be determined after the muddy season\, but we'll be working to improve trails in the Boise foothills. Over the years\, ITA has helped with big tread/trail surface projects\, moving dirt or importing gravel material to make trails more durable for the muddy trail season. Project work could also include brushing\, tread repair\, or any special project identified by our partners at Ridge to Rivers.   \nNational Public Lands Day is the country's largest single-day volunteer event for public lands\, taking place every year on the fourth Saturday in September. Since its inception in 1994\, NPLD has brought together hundreds of thousands of volunteers to help restore and preserve America's public lands.
