Dear friends of Idaho Trails Association,
After six years as Executive Director of ITA, Jeff Halligan will be retiring at the end of this year. Jeff has been involved in ITA from the start and has helped lead us through periods of rapid growth and great achievements. We are so grateful for the leadership and compassion that Jeff has brought to ITA and his commitment to making Idaho a better place. ITA would not have the same impact today without Jeff’s guidance over the years. We are going to miss Jeff’s big heart and leadership as our Executive Director and hope to continue partnering with him on many future ITA adventures and projects.
Thank you, Jeff, for your many years of service to Idaho Trails Association and your dedication to Idaho’s wild places. You have made a lasting impact and future generations will benefit from the many miles of trails you have helped to keep open!
The ITA Board of Directors

Congratulations Jeff! You will leave a mighty void when you retire but your accomplishments will help fill the gap and continue to help ITA in the coming years. I’m proud to be counted among those who know you personally as you are one of the finest, most honorable men I know. Enjoy your retirement my friend, you’ve earned it. Marc S.
Congratulations Jeff! Every day is Saturday now and coincidentally that covers many of our ITA trail days.
Thanks for coming to Sandpoint for crew college and certifying me and the others on the crosscut. We learned from the best.
Been a pleasure to work for ya Jeff! Congrats on all you have accomplished with ITA. Glad to see you’ll be getting back in the saddle where you belong.
