ITA’s Women in the Wild Program will be joining Bogus Basin for a day of trail work maintaining pedestrian only trails near their Nordic Lodge. Part of a Bogus Basin initiative to make recreation more accessible to the public, these trails are intended to be shorter than others in the area, providing a bike-free experience for people to get out and explore the mountain at their own pace. They are free to use in the summer and fall and are also used by Bogus’ environmental education programs throughout the year. We’ll work on several trails nearby that need tread and erosion repair and brushing and clearing to bring these back to life.
Project information is subject to change. Crew leaders will communicate via email. Failure to respond to your crew leader may result in being dropped from the project. See our FAQs, reach out to your crew leader, or contact ITA staff at trails@idahotrailsassociation.org if you have questions.
Trails: Trails TBD based on need after the snow melts. Billy Goat, Aspen Ave, Bogus Creek Vista, and Lichen Loop Trail.
