Project Name: Boulder Lake
Date: July 26
One of the most popular trails in McCall, the Boulder Lake Trail is a short one-and-a-half-mile hike to the shores of Boulder Lake. ITA will spend a day on the trail up to the lake working with the Forest Service on bigger projects outside of our typical log cutting and brushing. We’ll help tackle some of the larger drainage issues, which could include rock work, turnpike constitution, bridge repair, and moving lots of dirt!
Past Boulder Lake, hikers, anglers, and backpackers can continue along a trail in almost any direction to access more mountain lakes and summits. ITA will be working up beyond the lake this fall on a Women in the Wild backpacking project.
