Hi Crew Leaders,
We’d love to tell our volunteers more about who will be leading them! We have started a Crew Leader page on our website and we link to that from the projects. Please fill out a little bio for yourself and upload a photo that shows your face well without others in the photo.
If you’d like to see some examples of the kind of bio we are looking for, check out our crew leader page. Some guidelines for the bio:
1. keep your bio to somewhere between 100-130 words.
2. Write in third person: “Kelly likes to hike” instead of “I like to hike”.
3. Some ideas of what to write about yourself: What is your background in? What do you do for work (or did if you are retired!)?, where are you from? what got you interested in trails? in ITA? What’s your favorite trail? What do you like about clearing trails and leading crews? What do you like to do in your spare time? Passions outside of hiking? Quirky facts about yourself? Feel free to be creative!
