In partnership with the Land Trust of the Treasure Valley, we’ll be repairing some of the most frequently used and well-loved trails in the Dry Creek Watershed. Tread repair and pruning will be conducted along Ponderosa Pine Overlook and the Snowshoe Hare Loop. Spend this National Public Lands Day surrounded by pine trees with wonderful views of the valley! 

Trail Name:  Ponderosa Pine Overlook and the Snowshoe Hare Loop 

Itinerary: Meet at Stack Rock trailhead at 9 am. Return to the trailhead at noon for refreshments and to head home.

Hiking less than three miles total with slight elevation gain. Carrying tools and day packs short distances.

Trail work will focus on tread repair and brushing, expect digging or swinging tools and bending or kneeling for light saw work or brushing.
