Volunteer Trail Work Project

2024 Hayes Gulch

Loading Events

Hayes Gulch trail system offers several multi-use trails and loop options with incredible views of Lake Pend Orielle.  It’s proximity to Sandpoint made these trails very popular with the community before they closed. This project we’ll work to reopen several sections of trail to make this area a safe and suitable trail for users! ITA volunteers have mapped the trails to report the work needed and suggested a plan.  With this information, ITA and the Idaho Department of Lands are teaming up for this weekend project.
