In the Payette National Forest, on trails south of Hazard Lake, we’re hosting a Women in the Wild Weekend project. We will be working on the Hidden Lake Loop, which takes hikers past Hard Creek Lake and Hidden Lake. We’ll camp at the trailhead off Goose Lake Road, where we’ll return together each day after trail work. With great views and fishing, this is a great trail for a day hike or easy overnight backpack trip for those looking to explore the mountains and meadows north of McCall.
