Project Dates: May 10

ITA volunteers will tackle log removal and brush clearing along the scenic Beach Trail, tracing the lower western shore of the stunning Priest Lake in northern Idaho. We’ll spend the day working from Outlet Bay to Luby Bay, enhancing this picturesque trail. The trailhead is located near the Priest Lake Museum, nestled in the historic Luby Bay Ranger Station log cabin, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and local history.

Difficulty Rating

Hike: 1/5 Easy The hike is 1.3 miles, no elevation gain and is along Priest Lake the whole time. Carrying tools and day packs short distances.  

Project Work: 2/5 Moderate Logging out and brushing, with infrequent digging or swinging tools. Bending or kneeling for light saw work or brushing. The weather in May can be unpredictable so please pack accordingly!
