Description: Want to break free from crowded campgrounds and carry everything you need to survive in the backcountry? This hour-long presentation in Boise at the Bown Crossing Library about backpacking is for you! Whether you are an experienced backpacker or just starting out, this presentation is packed with knowledge for all backpacking levels. Participants will learn the general differences in backpacks, what to carry for an overnight up to a week-long trip, how to pack your backpack, tips for making your load lighter, and lessons learned from experienced ITA Crew Leader and Search and Rescue volunteer Alisa Rettschlag.
