Project Name: City Creek

Project Dates: June 6

The City Creek Management Area, owned by the City of Pocatello, boasts an expansive trail network that accommodates a diverse range of users, making it a valuable recreational resource for the community. Idaho Trails Association and the City of Pocatello are partnering to work on a project near the main City Creek Trail. The exact project is still TBD depending on conditions after the winter, but options include decommissioning the old trail, adjacent to the new one the crew helped build last year, or stream bank restoration projects. All options will help make this trail more sustainable and available to the community for years to come!

This project is on National Trails Day! Held on the first Saturday in June, this is a day dedicated to advocacy and trail service through public events. Volunteers from across the country unite to work on trail projects and give back to their local communities, committed to improving trails for others. Join us for one of ITA's many statewide projects to celebrate this day!
