Join us at Lost Grove Brewing for an in-fur-mative evening! Come thirsty and enjoy a presentation by Diana Burrell and Matt Clark, authors of “The Hiker’s Guide: Treasure Valley Dog Hikes & Walks.” The evening will kick off with Diana, a certified Leave No Trace (LNT) Instructor, discussing hiking etiquette and Leave No Trace principles geared towards adventures with your four-legged co-adventurer.

Then, Diana and Matt will toss you a few paw-tastic dog-friendly parks, all-weather trails, and paths from their guidebook to explore while the weather is inclement. After that, they’ll cover a snowshoe path close to Boise. Then, to top the evening off and get you excited for spring hiking, they will discuss a few of the best wildflower hikes close to the Treasure Valley. After the presentation, guidebooks will be available to purchase and custom-signed for you and your Best Furry Friend!

A portion of the proceeds from the book’s sales will be donated to ITA.

Meet Matt, the trail enthusiast who once co-led the Boise Trail Heads hiking group and is basically Mother Nature’s and every dog’s BFF. If there’s a pup-friendly trail out there, Matt’s got it mapped! Diana, former ITA president-turned-trail-expert, fell head over paws for Idaho’s landscapes and is on a mission to share the love. She believes every wagging tail deserves a great adventure!
