Whitney “Allgood” La Ruffa, a seasoned long-distance hiker with over 10,000 miles of hikes under his feet and President Emeritus of the American Long Distance Hiking Association will teach about one of the most dangerous aspects of a hike- crossing streams swollen with snowmelt or recent rainfall. “Allgood” will cover how to find a safe place to cross and other considerations to keep you safe while navigating water crossings on a hike.

Learn about bear-awareness with Evin Oneale, Idaho Fish & Game Regional Conservation Educator. Discover the steps you can take and what to pack to keep safe in bear country.
