Today I am thankful for you- our volunteers and members.

I can see snow outside my window and, since trail folks are always thinking about trails, my mind wanders to my favorite wild places and how most Idaho trails must be blanketed in white by now.

Here at ITA, if we aren’t working on trails we are planning to work on them, and that’s what November through March is all about, but it’s also a time we reflect with gratitude on the work we were able to do just a few short months ago. On the smiling (and dirty) faces of our volunteers who infused each project with energy and laughter. On our members who love Idaho trails as much as we do.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, wherever you are, and enjoys a walk outside and some healthy daydreaming of the trail season to come!
